New Richmond senior Jake Dall will continue his football career at Georgetown College in Kentucky.

“Jake visited Georgetown three times and I went with him twice,” said his mother, Deborah Dall. “We were very impressed with the school.”

The 6-2, 270-pound Dall is listed as an offensive tackle by Georgetown and hopes to be at 285 pounds when he reports.

“They sent me a work out program and I hope to get started as soon as possible,” said Dall, who was a two-way starter for the Lions.  “It doesn't matter to me whether I play offense or defense, I'll do whatever is best for the team.”

“Jake was always a hard worker and that's what sets him apart,” said his New Richmond head coach Dan Scholz “That was evident from the first day I got here.”

Scholz was joined  by a large contingent of the New Richmond varsity football team at Dall's signing ceremony at the school.

“It's very exciting for our program and all the players who know that we can continue this tradition of having people go on to the next level.” said Scholz. “It's always great to have someone go on to represent your program at the next level and I can't think of a person better to do that than Jake Dall.”
