Lana Gilday returns to coach Lady Lions
Lana Gilday takes over as coach of the Lady Lions softball team for the 2011 season. She will be assisted by Sue Curfman.
Lana is a 1985 graduate of New Richmond High School and was a member of New Richmond’s first fast-pitch softball team. She also played soccer and basketball. She is married to Michael Gilday for 21 years and is the mother of three boys, Tyler, Luke and Kyle.
She earned associate and bachelor degrees in criminal justice from University of Cincinnati and a masters degree is Multicultural Special Education from the College of Mt. St. Joseph.
Lana has worked for Clermont County Educational Service Center since 2006 and is the lead teacher for the "get REAL" program which assists 18 to 22 year old special need students with life and employment skills.
She also has worked for 10 years for Clermont County Juvenile Court system and was a paraprofessional for New Richmond’s special education department before returning to college to obtain her master’s degree.
