	Summer Break August 20 - First Day for Students
	Kindergarten Registration May 1, 8, 15, 22 - 10:00 am - 3:00 pm If your child will be 5 years of age on or before August 1, 2009, please attend one of the kindergarten registration sessions at the elementary building in which you reside. Please bring the following items with you to register: Proof of Residency Original Birth Certificate Social Security Number Photo ID of Parent Immunization Records Custody papers (if applicable)
	CommunitySafe Call Notification Service
	The New Richmond Exempted Village School District has implemented a new call notification service, 'CommunitySafe'. This service will allow us to contact parents and staff by telephone for urgent announcements throughout the school year. It's important to answer your phone as you normally would as the system is voice activated and the recorded message will not begin until it hears your voice on the line or until your voicemail/answering machine greeting is complete. Notice: The New Richmond Exempted Village School District offers this service as an added convenience for notifications to parents and school employees. Please remember to tune into local radio and TV stations for official announcements on school closings, delays, etc.
	New Richmond Schools Achieve "Excellent" Rating
	The New Richmond Exempted Village School District has achieved an "Excellent" rating on the 2007-2008 state report card released by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE). The district met 29 of 30 indicators to achieve this rating. The report card is designed as a tool for comparative and summary analysis within a district and between districts. 	As a reminder we do offer Edline accounts to parents of students in the district. Edline is a web-based tool that allows parents to view student grades, assignments, and news items anytime and anywhere utilizing an Internet connection and your computer. If you have not received an Edline account or activation code for your student please notify your child's school directly so you may enjoy this free valuable communication tool.

	School Board Meeting Changes
	The meetings will start at 5 p.m. and the Board of Education will enter into executive session until 5:45 p.m., upon returning from Executive Session, all business items will be acted upon by the Board of Education. Please click here for location changes.
