Mrs. Block has been teaching for New Richmond Schools for 36 years. Her first
year was at Moscow Elementary and she has been at Monroe for 35 years. She
received her Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Kentucky University and her Master's
Degree with a Reading Specialist concentration from Xavier University. She lives in Bethel with her husband.
She enjoys reading, working in her yard, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Fritz has been
teaching for 20 years. She has been at Monroe for 10 years. She has an undergraduate degree from Northeastern State University in
Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. She has a Master's Degree
from Wright State University. She has taught in Oklahoma, New York, and Ohio.
She has taught many different grade levels and is currently teaching
first grade. She lives in Milford with her husband and three boys. She enjoys reading and
exercising.

Mrs. Lesko takes great pride in
the New Richmond community and schools. She is a graduate of the University of
Cincinnati and received her Master's Degree from Northern Kentucky University.
At Monroe, Mrs. Lesko has taught as a reading specialist and a first grade
classroom teacher. She has been teaching for more than twenty years. Education
is a way of life for her both as a teacher and a learner. This summer she
completed training in the Phonics Dance and Math Mania. Participating in the
Ohio Writing Project, Reading Recovery, Quality Schools, and the Green Teachers'
Institute has helped her bring new ideas to her students. Her hobbies include
spending time with her grandchildren, water skiing, and boating. Mrs. Lesko
loves books and teaching children to read!
Mrs. Valerie Woebkenberg, First Grade Teacher

Mrs. Woebkenberg has been teaching in New Richmond for 25 years.
She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Otterbein College and a
Master's of Education degree with a reading specialist concentration from Xavier
University. Mrs. Woebkenberg lives with her husband and three children. She
loves to read and enjoys sharing favorite children's books with her class.
Her favorite children's author is Jan Brett.
