Mrs. Biggs has been teaching at Monroe Elementary since 1993.  She earned her Bachelors Degree from the University of Dayton in 1992.  She holds three teaching certifications in Pre-K, Kindergarten-Third, and First-Eighth grade.  She went on to Northern Kentucky University to earn her Masters Degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education (Early Childhood Special Education).  Mrs. Biggs is very proud to have been nominated for Who's Who Among America's Teachers and WARM 98's Teacher of the Week in past years. She lives with her husband and three children in Anderson.  She enjoys being outside, exercise, travel, and visiting with family and friends. Most of all she loves teaching!

 

Ms. Barb Holman, Kindergarten Teacher

Ms. Holman has been teaching at Monroe for 21 years. She has her undergraduate and Master's Degree from Northern Kentucky University. Ms. Holman is the mother of two sons and one very large cat named Figaro. Ms. Holman likes to travel, spend time with her family, and read. Ms. Holman especially loves teaching kindergarten and helping children learn to read. Ms. Holman's favorite author is Dr. Seuss.

 

 

 

Mrs. Patti Piper, Kindergarten Teacher

Mrs. Piper has been teaching kindergarten for 31 years. She has three sons. Ryan is a junior at Ohio University, Andy is a Senior at NRHS, and Cody is a Sophomore at NRHS. She received her undergraduate degree in early childhood education from Bowling Green State University and her master's degree in reading from Xavier University. Her favorite past time is watching her boys play soccer.
