Allen joined the Monroe Staff in January of 2008. She is very proud to be part
of the Monroe family and looks forward to working with all the students. She
graduated from Mount St. Joseph with a B.S. in Moderate and Intense Special
Education. She enjoys being active and is always on the go! Her hobbies include;
hiking, camping, and cooking.

Mrs. Berger has been an
intervention specialis for 27 years, with 22 of those at Monroe Elementary. She
is a graduate of Wittenburg University (B.S.) and Northern Kentucky University
(M. Ed.). In her spare time she enjoys cooking, reading, snow skiing, and scuba
diving. In the classroom, Mrs. Berger's motto is, "Different strokes for
different folks," as she truly believes all students can learn with the right
teaching.

Mrs. Ellis is an intervention specialist for
first and second. This is her
fifth
year at Monroe Elementary. Mrs. Ellis received her B.A. from Asbury
College, her M.A. from Ohio State University, and her intervention specialist
training from The University of Dayton. Mrs. Ellis enjoys playing the piano,
singing, and gardening during her free time.

This is Ms. McCann's fifth year
at New Richmond Schools. She has her bachelor's degree in Middle
School Education from Northern Kentucky University and has received her Master's
Degree in Gifted and Talented Education. She is a huge college football fan and
actually has season tickets for University of Cincinnati. She is also a big fan
of the University of Michigan, GO BLUE! Her favorite artist is Jack Johnson.

Mrs. Lawwill is beginning her
sixth year of teaching for the Clermont County Educational Service Center at
Monroe Elementary. She received her Bachelor of Science degree as an
intervention specialist from Xavier University. Her goal is to provide a
learning environment that encourages each student to reach his or her greatest
potential in the school community for success at home and in the community.

Mrs. Grundy has worked with MD students for 23 years. This is her second
school in the New Richmond District. The last ten years she has been in the West
Clermont District. She is married, has three children, and is expecting
her fourth
grandchild in September. She loves antiques, gardening, reading, collecting "stuff",
and exploring mining and train (esp. steam) towns in the US with her husband.
