Applications for underclassmen exam exemptions are in the office on the counter.

Students may qualify for exemption from one final exam per semester if the following criteria are met:

An “A” average for both quarters in the semester.

No more than three excused absences during the semester (based on official office attendance records).  Any unexcused absence will disqualify the student.

Teacher approval (Teacher signature indicates student has an “A” for both quarters.)

There will be a National Honor Society after school Tuesday in Miss Utendorf’s room 203.

Students who plan to vote in Tuesday's student council elections must register to vote. You only have to register one time in your career at NRHS.  Registration will take place at lunch today.

SENIORS:  If you are planning on attending college next year and majoring in a health related science, please see Mrs. Coulter ASAP for a scholarship opportunity.

New Richmond Elementary is having Movie night on the May 20th; if you need extra community hours see Mrs. Lewis in the office.

There will now be a summer school physical education class offered here at New Richmond High School.  The class will run three weeks from June 2-20 from 8 am to 4 pm every day Monday through Friday.  Students who already registered to take PE at Grant can change to take PE here.  The class will have a cost of $50.  Applications for this class are now available in the Guidance Office. 

Juniors (future seniors)-a reminder that senior option forms are due to the guidance office by Friday, May 16th.

SENIORS: Northern Kentucky University is offering a scholarship to outstanding males who will attend NKU next year.  They are looking for a well balanced male with experience in leadership, activities and achievement.  If you fit this role, please see Mrs. Coulter for a copy of the application.  Deadline is June 1, 2008.

The New Richmond Lions Sports Foundation is hosting an Open House, May 18 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at the New Richmond High School Stadium to honor and celebrate thirty-six year legacy Ms. Pat Hill, and her retirement from the New Richmond School District Athletics Program. A special area will be set up to display memorabilia and your words of encouragement and thanks to Pat for her many years of service to our community’s youth. Any student who wished to hear a presentation on ROTC scholarships through the Marines should sign up in the guidance office.

SENIORS:  If you or your parents have any questions on funding education beyond high school, please pick up a booklet in the guidance office.
