OSBA to Lead Superintendent Search Focus Groups on 2/26
This past December, Superintendent Mr. Adam Bird announced his plans for retirement as of July 2019. In preparation for filling this role, the NREVSD Board of Education voted to partner with the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) for a customized superintendent search.
This decision to partner with the OSBA was carefully considered and chosen with the intention of placing the best possible candidate in a position to meet the current needs of our distinct while setting us on course for a successful, thriving future.
The service includes recruitment; processing applications; providing complete, confidential administrative support; making interview appointments; facilitating input sessions with stakeholders and the community; and critiquing board interview techniques.
The seven-step search process begins with the planning and profile development phase. As part of the planning and profile development stage, the OSBA will be facilitating Superintendent Search Focus Groups.
On February 26, 2019, the community is highly encouraged to attend one of the focus groups with unique stakeholder groups scheduled throughout the day:
Administrators - 11am
Chamber/Business Leaders - 1pm
PTO // Other School Support Groups - 2pm
Teachers (Grades 7-12) - 3pm
Teachers (Grades PK-5) - 4pm
Classified Staff - 5pm
All Call/Community - 6pm
