Quarter Auction Benefit Held for Lenny Lindsey

On October 10, beginning at 7pm, there will be a Quarter Auction Benefit held for New Richmond Exempted Village School District (NREVSD) bus driver, Lenny Lindsey.

Lindsey, who has faithfully served the students of the district for many years now, is in a health battle with pancreatic cancer. No longer able to work due to this illness, she is in the beginning stages of her treatment process. As medical bills grow, the effort to aid Lindsey in this process has only grown further.

The NREVSD community has witnessed the positive impact that Lindsey has had throughout the district in her time as a driver. Those who know her impact the most, are those who she has worked side by side with throughout the years. Over the past several weeks, all of the NREVSD bus drivers have joined together to put on a Quarter Auction Benefit to aid Lindsey.

The NREVSD community is invited to join in support of Lenny Lindsey by attending the Quarter Auction Benefit on October 10. The event will take place at the old Krogers in Amelia at the intersection of 125 and 132, beginning at 7pm, where all proceeds will go to Lindsey.

NREVSD is thankful for Lenny Lindsey and her years of service to the district. We look forward to seeing the community surround Lindsey with encouragement and support as she is in this fight with cancer.
