Coach Brad Hatfield's SBAAC American Division champion Lady Lions, who wrapped up New Richmond's first girls basketball title in 30 years last week with their 66-48 win over Amelia, added the league overall championship with a 47-44 win over SBAAC National Division champion Georgetown Lady G-Men Saturday, Feb. 8.
Senior Josie Buckingham scored 29 points to lead the Lady Lions, including two crucial free throws in the final four seconds.
