Many exciting Spring activities are going on at LCE!
Our first round of PARCC testing was a learning experience, but our students worked with the Chromebooks quite well and earned much from the experience of taking tests that demanded some critical thinking skills and much extended response writing. Kudos to staff and students here!!
Second Round of PARCC testing and the 3rd Grade ELA/ Reading test will begin April 21, and continue through May 11th by grade level and subject area.

Good News...Many of you have asked if students in New Richmond schools will be required to "make-up" and of our 6 Calamity Days. At this point...NO.
We will still have May 21, 2015 as our LAST DAY for students.

Teacher Kidnapping ContestYou only have until next Thursday to bring in your money for your teacher's jar. Mr. Durm is in the lead. The winning class has a free pizza party while their teacher is kidnapped. All money donated will go towards this year's 6th Grade Farewell.
2015 State Testing Schedule
State Testing in Ohio, which was previously known as the OAA (Ohio Achievement Assessments) will look very different this year as compared to previous years. Instead of students participating in a longer 2 ½ hour tests which conclude in a single day, the new state format has students testing for shorter periods of time over multiple days.
