“Pie in the Face” Coin Jar Contest

for Samantha Tharpe

The Locust Corner Elementary Running Club is doing a fundraiser to raise money to help support 6th grader Samantha Tharpe in her battle with Leukemia. The running club will be collecting coins during lunches each day. Students can put coins (not lunch money) in their teacher’s jar. The winning teacher will have to stand in front of the whole school while each member of his/her class throws a pie at them. The winning class will also get a pizza party. The contest will take place now through April 27th. The “winning” teacher will be announced on the afternoon of April 27th, and the whole school “Pie in the Face” assembly will take place on Tuesday, April 28th.

Thank you for all of your support as we raise money for a very special member of our Locust Corner Family. If you wish to make additional donations, each member of the Running Club will be collecting money in collection envelopes.

If you have any questions, you can contact Shari Andrews.
