Riverarts Festival looking for student artists
The New Richmond Riverarts Festival is seeking entries from high school, middle school and elementary school artists for a student art booth at the Oct. 18 & 19 art festival along the scenic Ohio River on Front Street. Students may submit one work of art (no entry fee) at the student art booth and be eligible for one of six $25 awards. Entries will be accepted from 8 to 11 a.m. on Oct. 18.
The Riverarts Festival will be held from noon to 6 p.m. on Oct. 18 and 19 with artists demonstrating and selling their work along Front Street. Entertainers Katie Lauer, Ricky Nye, Julie Stinchoomb and others will be performing on stage in Haussermann Park during the festival.
