New Richmond High School will be hosting its annual cross country invitational Saturday, September 20th that includes an open 5K race that is the same course the runners compete. This race is open to anyone that is not on a current high school cross country team. The Open 5K race begins at 10 a.m. and has an entry fee of $10. Proceeds from the race will go towards a scholarship given out to a senior boy and senior girl on the cross country team at the end of the year. Runners may register on race day or in advance at the high school office beginning Sept. 17.
