NREVSD - lowest taxes in Southwest Ohio

New Richmond Exempted Village School District has the lowest millage rate of the 49 public school districts located in the four most Southwest counties in Ohio.

During his presentation at the December Board of Education, Superintendent Tracey Miller shared a document listing the millage rates for the 49 public school districts located within the four most southwestern counties of Ohio - Butler, Clermont, Hamilton, and Warren.

Of these four counties, New Richmond Exempted Village School District has the lowest taxes with an effective millage rate of 20.32. Even with the passage of the levy in March, the district’s effective millage rate will be the 11th lowest of the 49 public school districts located in the four counties listed above.

New Richmond’s ranking on the list is telling and helps to illustrate the value the community has received from the power plants which have kept school property taxes in the district the lowest in the area, Miller said.
