New Richmond High School is proud to partner with the Clermont County Chamber and their Work Readiness Program. Every Thursday during 7th period, community business members come in and present to approximately 46 seniors who are enrolled in our College & Career Success class. The class focus for the next few Thursdays will be on financial literacy. The curriculum is very hands-on and engaging!
We wanted to share some pictures from a recent presentation that was done with faculty from the Ohio State University. This lesson unit will continue for the next two weeks.
The class meets on Thursday afternoons in the media center. New Richmond is the only district in the county with this course offering for credit. We are thrilled to have this resource and partnership for the benefit of our students!
Some of the future lessons will focus on Life Skills, including accountability, respect and diversity, and employee expectations. The students will also be able to receive interviewing tips and participate in mock interviews.
We are continuing the tradition of excellence….and making sure our students are well equipped for success in life.
