The New Richmond Exempted Village School District is excited to introduce and welcome the new School Public Relations Coordinator Kyla Woods to the community, staff, and students pending final Board approval.

Ms. Woods will be joining the New Richmond Schools family after working for the last 5 years as a reporter/anchor for WLWT-TV Channel 5 in Cincinnati, and 7 years as a Sales Coordinator and Voiceover Artist for Radio One in Indianapolis. She is a graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She and her husband and two daughters reside in Mt. Washington.

“We are happy to have someone with Kyla’s level of talent, experience, connections, and expertise in the media field to fill this position for NR schools,” said New Richmond Exempted Village School District superintendent Adam Bird. “She will be a great fit for our school and community and I am confident that she will be able to implement the communications goal of the district's Strategic Plan.”

Ms. Woods main job responsibilities will include developing content and news stories for the district’s website, submitting articles to local media, communicating with parents and community, promoting videos and photos of New Richmond students, and developing a system of print communications with the community.

This is a part-time position and Ms. Woods will be starting in early August of 2016. She fills the vacancy created by the recent retirement of Enos Pennington.
