New Richmond Exempted Village Schools is dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of all learners. Through our Department of Student Services, we provide specially designed instruction and supports that empower students with disabilities to grow and succeed. Guided by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), our goal is to ensure every eligible student has access to the tools and opportunities necessary for meaningful educational progress.

Every eligible student with a disability is entitled to a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) from age 3 through 21. We work collaboratively with families and staff to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) that are tailored to meet each student’s unique needs, helping them access the general curriculum and achieve measurable goals.
