New Richmond High School Grad Sworn in as County Commissioner




Newly elected Clermont County Commissioner David Painter was sworn into office on Friday, December 30th, 2016. David is a graduate of New Richmond High School and a former member of the NREVSD Board of Education, serving two years as President (2007 and 2011).

Commissioner Painter took to his Facebook page to thank his wife (and current New Richmond Middle School teacher), Karla, and his supporters. “Judge Kevin Miles conducted my swearing-in ceremony being assisted by my beautiful wife, Karla Painter. Thanks to both of them for being part of a very special day for me. Thanks so much to all of you that supported me during the campaign. I am honored to serve you.”





Commissioner Painter was sworn in with Commissioner Ed Humphrey, who begins his 3rd term. Painter spoke about the desire to serve his community. “My commitment to you is steadfast. Together we will raise the bar for all Clermont County citizens. My door will always be open and my cell phone will always be on.”
