Members of the Board of Education agreed Monday, Oct. 17, that paying the estimated $50,000 to repair the diving board at New Richmond High School would not be in the district's best interest, at least not at this time. The district does not currently have a dive team or classes that teach diving.
As a result, the diving board will not be replaced. If in the future needs change, the Board agreed that they would revisit the decision.
