New Richmond Exempted

Village School District

Nov. 18, 2020

Dear New Richmond Schools Families,

As you hopefully read yesterday, the New Richmond Exempted Village School District is moving to remote learning beginning November 23rd. We will resume in-person learning December 7th. If you missed the announcement that was sent by email on Tuesday, you can find it on our website at https://www.nrschools.org/protected/ArticleView.aspx?iid=630GP0B&dasi=4GPY0

In yesterday’s letter, Superintendent Tracey Miller mentioned that food service will continue for our students while working remotely. Today, we’re able to share with you our distribution plan.

  • NREVSD food service department workers will prepare and package meals to go. The meal bags will include breakfast and lunch.

  • NREVSD bus drivers will pick up the meals for distribution. They will leave New Richmond High School at 10:30 a.m. and make stops at the individual homes of district bus riders. (Families who do not use district transportation who would like to receive the meals should contact the NREVSD Transportation Office or the Food Service Office.) Deliveries are estimated to conclude by 2 p.m. each day.

The district is able to provide free meals to our students thanks to the support of the US Department of Agriculture which extended the Summer Food Service Program through June 30, 2021, for participating school districts, including New Richmond. This includes breakfast and lunch.

If you have questions, please contact our food service office, 513-553-2616, our transportation office, 513-553-0266.

Sincerely,

Brenda Young
