NRMS Wrestling Coaches Honor State Champ Charley Jones

Wrestling Coaches present NRMS state champ wrestler with a plaque to place in school trophy case.Last school year, New Richmond Middle School wrestler Charley Jones accomplished what no other New Richmond student has - she won a state title in wrestling, the 2021 Ohio Athletic Committee Girls Junior High State Wrestling Championship in the 98-pound weight class.


In recognition of her success, a plaque is now on display in the middle school trophy case. The plaque is identical to one presented to Charley last school year by her middle school coaches: Head Coach Andrew Nealan and his assistant and father Robert Nealan. Both plaques were crafted by Robert Nealan.


The second plaque was presented to Charley on November 30, 2021, by middle school Dean of Students/Athletic Director Kenny Holtzclaw.
