The new Traveling Lions Lunch Box food bus will begin meal deliveries in July to school-aged children and their siblings living within the New Richmond Exempted Village School District attendance area.
Funding for this summer meals program is provided by the Ohio Department of Education Summer Food Service Program.
Beginning July 6, the New Richmond Schools Food Service Department expects to serve hot meals from the bus at each stop plus provide participants with seven days of shelf-stable breakfasts and lunches.
The meal pickup/delivery schedule is as follows:
Mondays - NRMS
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Meals will continue to be available for pick up from the food service office at New Richmond Middle School for families who are unable to meet the Lions Lunch Box at one of its eight scheduled stops.
Tuesdays - Bus
11 to 11:30 a.m. Lakeside,1560 Bethel-New Richmond Road
12:50 to 1:20 p.m. NR Bandstand, 116 Susanna Way
Wednesdays - Bus
