NRHS students who made and presented plush toys to Monroe studentsThe New Richmond High School Craft Classes taught by Amy Hauserman recently visited Monroe Elementary School with special deliveries of soft monster sculpture creations.

The monster plushies were all hand-sewn by the high school students with designs based on the drawings of student artists in art teacher Kelly Langdon’s art classes. Specifically, they were students from Erika Hauke’s first grade and Ann Marie Anderson’s kindergarten.

The kindergartners and first-graders all seemed to appreciate seeing their artwork come to life. Several students immediately began cuddling and playing with their new plush toys.
