NREVSD is pleased to announce the hiring of Steve Wolf Jr. to the role of Director of Technology/Systems Engineer throughout the district.
"I’m incredibly honored to serve as Director of Technology/Systems Engineer for a district I’ve been proud to call home for nearly 20 years,” Mr. Wolf said. “I’m excited to continue building systems that support student learning, teacher growth, and long-term innovation across all of New Richmond."
Mr. Wolf brings a wealth of experience and familiarity to that role, having served as the district’s LAN technician since 2006. That level of continuity is expected to be crucial as the district navigates both the start of a new school year and the introduction of several new technological programs this August.
“It is essential during this season of change that we maintain continuity of service and ensure knowledge of our technology and infrastructure,” Superintendent Paul Daniels said. “During the interview process, this historical knowledge and understanding of what the next five years will bring for the New Richmond Exempted Village School District is what separated Steve from the rest. Mr. Wolf also shares our commitment to researching and onboarding a more user-friendly ticketing system that provides the updates our staff deserves and needs.”
During his tenure in the district, Mr. Wolf has helped NREVSD shift to a fully 1:1 environment, securing devices for every single New Richmond Student. He also helped upgrade the district's infrastructure and has championed collaboration by leading district-wide technology conferences.
That level of cohesiveness will be crucial as the district navigates future technological changes.
“Technology can be intimidating, and Mr. Wolf will make sure that all requests are met with both expertise and a solutions-based, friendly approach,” Mr. Daniels said.
