We have completed our second week of school! The energy and excitement filling our hallways over the past several days hse been absolutely incredible. As your new principal, it has been an absolute joy getting to know our wonderful students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. I am incredibly grateful for the warm welcome I have received.
Our building is bursting with life, and I love seeing our students reconnect with friends they haven’t seen since May, while enthusiastically welcoming new faces into our community.
Our teachers and staff have been working tirelessly to create a safe, structured, and joyful learning environment. Together, we have already accomplished so much during these first couple of weeks:

Building Community: Students and staff participated in fun icebreaker activities to help build strong classroom bonds and connections.
Establishing Routines: We practiced our very first fire drill and have been learning and practicing our school-wide behavioral expectations to ensure a safe environment for all.
Assessing Growth: We began our fall benchmark testing, which helps our teachers understand exactly where each student is academically so we can best support their individual growth this year.

Thank you for your ongoing partnership, communication, and support as we kick off this new school year. My door is always open, and I look forward to working alongside you to make this an unforgettable year for our students.

Morning Arrival Reminders:

Good afternoon, parents and guardians,Please review these important reminders for student drop-off in the morning:

-Enter the school campus on Franklin-Laurel Rd. by the bus barn.

-Stay in your vehicle at all times during drop-off to keep the line moving safely. If you have a child in a car seat, move it to the drivers side for quick access.

-Practice unbuckling seatbelts with your child tonight so they can exit quickly.

-Direct your children to walk straight up the main walkway to the entrance.
