The lively energy of the first few weeks of school has gracefully shifted into something equally beautiful: the steady, purposeful hum of established routines. Our students have officially settled into their classrooms, adjusted to their new schedules, and mastered their daily transitions.

There is a distinct sense of comfort and confidence that comes when a school finds its rhythm. Now that the building layouts and morning expectations are second nature, our students are channeling all of their energy into deep learning, creative projects, and meaningful friendships.

Thank you for an incredible start to the school year! We are so grateful for your partnership, support, and dedication to helping our community kick off the year on such a high note.

Inside our classrooms, the energy is fantastic. Our teachers have jumped right into their curriculum and core materials, and the students are already working hard, staying focused, and diving deep into their learning.

We also hosted a special character education assembly this week that our students absolutely loved! The program focused on three vital life skills with lifelong relevance: Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best. The presenter brought these concepts to life by combining powerful messages with captivating storytelling, magic, humor, and incredible yo-yo tricks. It was wonderful to see our students so engaged and excited about character building.

We have completed our second week of school! The energy and excitement filling our hallways over the past several days hse been absolutely incredible. As your new principal, it has been an absolute joy getting to know our wonderful students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. I am incredibly grateful for the warm welcome I have received.
Our building is bursting with life, and I love seeing our students reconnect with friends they haven’t seen since May, while enthusiastically welcoming new faces into our community.
Our teachers and staff have been working tirelessly to create a safe, structured, and joyful learning environment. Together, we have already accomplished so much during these first couple of weeks:

Building Community: Students and staff participated in fun icebreaker activities to help build strong classroom bonds and connections.
Establishing Routines: We practiced our very first fire drill and have been learning and practicing our school-wide behavioral expectations to ensure a safe environment for all.
Assessing Growth: We began our fall benchmark testing, which helps our teachers understand exactly where each student is academically so we can best support their individual growth this year.

Thank you for your ongoing partnership, communication, and support as we kick off this new school year. My door is always open, and I look forward to working alongside you to make this an unforgettable year for our students.

Morning Arrival Reminders:

Good afternoon, parents and guardians,Please review these important reminders for student drop-off in the morning:

-Enter the school campus on Franklin-Laurel Rd. by the bus barn.

-Stay in your vehicle at all times during drop-off to keep the line moving safely. If you have a child in a car seat, move it to the drivers side for quick access.

-Practice unbuckling seatbelts with your child tonight so they can exit quickly.

-Direct your children to walk straight up the main walkway to the entrance.
