** We will run a bus to Grant as usual in the morning for those GRANT students who do not want to miss out on class at GRANT. For those GRANT student who want to stay we will have a second bus go back to GRANT after the pep rally. If you attend report to the gym when you get here.

I hope you all have had a wonderful summer! My name is Ms. Plummer, I'm going to be your band teacher this year along with Mr. Wright. I'm very excited to meet you all and have a great marching season! But first, I'm going to give you a little bit more info about band camp next week.
Dates: August 10th - 14th
Times: 9am - 5pm
Location: NRHS
Percussion Camp
Dates: August 6th - 7th
Times: 10am - 3pm
Location: NRHS
What to Bring:
- Instrument - If you have your own instrument please bring it with you, if you need to borrow one from the school or are currently borrowing one, please fill out this form. If you don't fill it out I will assume you have your own. https://forms.gle/xD1197Ehvka9M6UN6
- Sunscreen and Hat - it is the summer, please protect yourself from the sun while we are outside.
- Water Bottle - we will have water jugs but please bring your own bottle to fill.
- Flipbooks/Binder - to hold your music.
- Pencil - to write in your music.
- Raincoat/towel - there is a chance of rain most days throughout the week, if you are wanting a way to stay dry or dry off, please feel free to bring these!
What to Wear:
Please wear athletic shoes and comfortable clothing. We will be outside everyday so prepare for the weather and to be moving!
Lunch:
Lunch will be provided by our cafeteria staff each day. Please make sure you thank them for helping us out and providing meals. If you would like to pack a lunch, please feel free.
Drum Majors:
If you are interested in auditioning for drum major, we will be holding auditions on the first day of camp. You will be expected to conduct the national anthem and the fight song. You will also chat with me and Mr. Wright about the season.
Leadership:
We will also be discussing leadership crews on the first day. This includes uniforms, loading instruments, setting up the field, etc. Please think about this over the next few days and see if it is something you might be interested in.

Reminder Band Camp are the following dates:
Percussion Camp 8/6 and 8/7 from 10am - 3pm
Band Camp 8/10 - 8/14 from 9am - 5pm.
Our new Band instructor is Ms. Plummer. Mr. Wright will still be assisting.
