Due to hazardous road conditions throughout our district, NREVSD will be closed on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Monroe Elementary's Kindergarten night will be rescheduled.
The New Richmond Exempted Village Schools will be on a 2-Hour Delay on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, due to varying snowfall conditions across our villages and townships. There will be no AM Preschool.
ALERT: Due to the timing and potential impact from tomorrow's forecasted snowfall, NREVSD will be CLOSED on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. After reviewing all available forecasts, the district does not want to run the risk of students traveling home in the worst of the storm. NREVSD will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, January 29, 2026. Today's delay allowed the district and our communities to plow snow that had blown onto roads overnight. It also improved visibility for our drivers.

This delay gives our road crews time to clear snow drifts and improves visibility on back roads after sunrise. A cold weather advisory remains in effect due to below zero wind chills.
