Preschooler's learning about tools with our tech teacher Ms Jordan!

First grade had a blast diving into a new Bridges Math unit! Our young mathematicians learned a little bit about Antarctica while putting their measuring skills to the test. They even created their own measuring strips to figure out what size snowsuit they would need to stay warm in the icy cold and compared lengths!❄️📏

Mrs. Keaton's class did a sorting activity in science. They separated the contents of a soil, sand, and gravel mixture and separated it into parts!

Team Africa with the nice early lead in the medal count in our Read-a-thon Olympics! #WeAreNR

Today we kick-off our big PTO fundraiser for the school year-- The LCE Reading Olympics!!!

Today, our first grade had an exciting visit from our amazing tech coach! Later, we were able to dive right into showing off the skills we learned by turning writing into digital persuasive posters. To top it off, they had a blast recording themselves presenting their writing! What a fun and productive time for learning! ⭐️🎤💻

4th graders explored the cause of earthquakes through their CKLA readers and then showed off their knowledge with a Build and Tell!
