Two of four district-owned properties that were advertised for auction have been sold.

During its December meeting, the Board accepted bids for the sale of the 1113 Bethel New Richmond Road (Shepherd house) and the Choate property that is located adjacent to the main campus.

The winning and only bids were $66,000 for the Shepherd house and $201,000 for the 94-acre Choate property.

Bids for the remaining two properties (229 Front St. and 212 Market St.) are scheduled for auction in January.
