There’s still time to secure a ticket to participate in the Halloween Hike Fundraiser.
The event is being presented by NRHS Student Council and any students who collect a minimum of $10 can get a ticket to participate in this fun event that will be held during the school day on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
Along the hike students can wear a costume and participate in challenges to earn hot chocolate and s’mores. Participating students can:
Bring their own or buy a picnic lunch outside;
Purchase goodies from the Fabulous Funnel Cakes Food Truck at lunch (all items are $5 or less);
Possibly win the best costume and/or group costume contest;
Paint a pumpkin (fr an additional donation - a preorder at lunch must be made).
The Halloween Hike is a fundraiser for the Student Council. The goal is to raise funds that will be applied towards activities such as class trips, school dances, school spirit activities, and more. In addition to the above-mentioned activities, the student with the most pledges from each class will win a pancake party for themselves and three of their favorite people.
