Principals Message

I am very excited to welcome you to Monroe Elementary School for the 2018-2019 school year. My desire is for our school to always be striving toward excellence in academics, as well as have an enthusiastic school environment.

I have taught in New Richmond for 22 years. I began my career at New Richmond Elementary teaching third grade. After being moved to Monroe Elementary, I enjoyed teaching first grade through fourth grade. This past year, I returned to New Richmond Elementary as a fourth grade teacher. New Richmond is a school district that I am truly proud to be a part of for so many years, and I look forward to what is ahead.

I earned my Bachelors Degree in Education at Miami University, and received my Masters in Elementary Administration at the University of Cincinnati.

My wife Melissa is a librarian at Milford High School, and my daughter Holly will be a senior at New Richmond High School.
I encourage you to visit our school at any time, and I hope it is a place that makes you proud. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Mr. Greg Chandler
Principal, Monroe Elementary
