Two doubles teams qualify for districts
Congratulations to the boys tennis squad for qualifying 2 doubles teams into the district tournament. Doubles teams consisting of Henry Heidlage/Clint Lytle and Zach Manning/Matt Rydzewski advanced to the semifinals of the sectional meet on Thursday, which automatically qualifies them for the district meet.
This is the first time in at least five years that anyone from the boys tennis team has qualified for districts, let alone two teams qualifying. Other players that played well at sectionals included Evan McKinley (won 2 matches), Newton McCollum (won 1 match), and David Ohntrup (won 1 match).
