Zachary Stock - January's Leading Lion
Monroe Elementary School first-grade teacher Zachary Stock was recently honored by the New Richmond Board of Education and presented with a Leading Lion award. The award is presented to individuals who go above and beyond expectations in their daily routine
Technology Director Matt Prichard nominated Mr. Stock in recognition of, among other things, his efforts to integrate technology into daily lessons. Through the use of the classroom Chromebooks, Mr. Stock's students learn about various computer applications, coding, and programming, he said.
Mr. Stock also does a “great job of using Twitter and social media to invite parents into the classroom,” Mr. Prichard said. He was instrumental in planning this year’s highly successful family math night.
Later this school year, Stock will be celebrated by InfoOhio for being a leader in technology integration in the classroom. More details about this will be shared as they become available.
