National Bullying Prevention

October 16 - 20

Monday, October 16 - Upstander and Stand Up for Good Day. You can sign a card and/or make a pinkie promise by having your pinkie nail painted blue during breakfast or lunch. PJ Day - Let’s put bullying to sleep.


Tuesday, October 17 - Blue Shirt Day - Wear a blue shirt to show that we are united for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. There will be an activity during Social Studies to help student send a positive message. SADD members will lead the activity.

***Student can get a raffle ticket in the cafeteria during breakfast or lunch for wearing anything blue.


Wednesday, October 18 - Orange Shirt Day - Wear an orange shirt to Unite Against Bullying. Send a message of support, hope, and unity to show that we are together against bullying and united for kindness, acceptance and inclusion.

***Students can get a raffle ticket in the cafeteria during breakfast or lunch for wearing anything orange.


Thursday, October 19 - Super Hero Day - Wear your favorite Super Hero apparel. Be someone’s hero by Standing Up Against Bullying.

***Students can get a raffle ticket in the cafeteria during breakfast or lunch for wearing Super Hero apparel.


Friday, October 20 - Team up Against Bullies - Wear everything New Richmond Lions, Red and Black!

***Students can get a raffle ticket in the cafeteria during breakfast or lunch for wearing New Richmond gear and/or red and black.


SADD committee will link all of the positive messages together and display the chain down the hall.


We will do a drawing daily on Monday-Friday. Daily prizes will be candy. On Friday, October 20, we will draw for a bike.


Raffle tickets will only be available in the cafeteria during breakfast and lunch.

SADD members will show a Bullying video and have the students do an activity on Tuesday, October 17 in the Social Studies classes.
