Jason Lynch named new NRMS AD, assistant principal

The New Richmond Exempted Village School District is thrilled to announce the addition of Jason Lynch to the staff at New Richmond Middle School.

Lynch will serve as an assistant principal/athletic director at NRMS. He comes to New Richmond after seven years in the classroom in the Forest Hills School District as a mathematics teacher at Turpin and Anderson High Schools.

“We are excited to welcome Mr. Lynch to New Richmond,” New Richmond Superintendent Tracey Miller said. “We’re looking forward to having an educator of his caliber on the team.”

Lynch has an abundance of coaching and teaching experience. He attended Ashland University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree (education) in 2001.

In the 22 years since, Lynch has worked in classrooms at Walnut Hills High School and River Valley Local Schools, among other stops. His coaching experience along the way has come at all different levels in various sports.

Lynch has twice served as a varsity head coach, once at River Valley (football) and once at Walnut Hills (baseball). He also served as the defensive coordinator for the Marion Mayhem, a Professional Indoor Football team.

Outside of interscholastic athletics, Lynch served as a member of the Anderson Township Little League’s board of directors, a role he has held for the past nine years.
