Coaching Staff

Terri Flamm added another page to her impressive coaching resume when she took over the New Richmond girls tennis program. It will be the 6th sport that Flamm has coached at her alma mater, where she was a four-sport athlete.

Flamm, who is also the head girls varsity track coach, has also coached soccer, volleyball, softball and basketball during her 13-year career at New Richmond High School, where she teaches physical education.

Rylan Shebesta, a former tennis instructor at Beechmont Racquetball Club, returns for his ninth season as the boys tennis coach with an overall record of 104-35. Shebesta, who teaches at New Richmond High School, coaches boys and girls cross country in the fall season. The boys tennis team hopes to continue their winning ways after capturing four Southern Buckeye Conference American Division Championships in the past five years (2011, 2012, 2013, 2015).
Shebesta was a four-year varsity soccer and three-year varsity tennis athlete at Amelia High School and played tennis for four years at Indiana Wesleyan University. He also coached tennis for three years at Indiana Wesleyan, which won league titles all three years and qualified for NAIA Div. II nationals in two of those years. He also coached boys varsity tennis for Marion (Ind.) High School for two years before returning to Ohio. Shebesta has previously been a tennis instructor at Beechmont Racquet Club and also has coached tennis at Camp Takajo (Naples, Maine), as well as served as the head tennis Instructor at Grant County Tennis Camp (Marion, IN). He teaches Math 10.
